| I do not presently trade using the CCI. I did
at one time. I found the CCI useful when used in conjunction with other
trading concepts. Many of these concepts are not used my Woodie. I never
traded without price bars and would never encourage anyone to do so.
I first met Woodie online about 6-7 years ago. perhaps 10 people were
in that room. Back then Woodie was to be respected for his relaxed style
of trading and the teaching he offered to others.
During these past many years 1000's of prospective traders have
passed through Woodies rooms. I admire many of those who added so much
value to Woodies room. They continually researched how to improve ways
to trade with CCI.
For me, I found enough in the original 3-4 setups I was exposed to.
The CCI gave clear timely entries. But without a larger contextual
knowlege of the market, it was too much of a leap of faith for me
to use alone not to mention without price bars 8-). |
