PRICE ACTION and the PRICE PATTERNS they create
You can most certainly learn to trade naked "indicators not
required". Price leads indicators always. Many traders continually try many
indicators and then continually try different settings in the search for what
Price Action alone often shows. Learning Price Action first will allow you use
indicators more effectively.
If I could use one technique on my charts it would trendlines. With practice
and quality screen time you can see many of them real-time without drawing them.
They identify all the patterns created from the price action.
